Keystone of Boston created vintage dollhouse in the 1940s and 1950s. This one is from the 50s. Looks good but is missing one wall in the upper level and the roof has a chipped corner. It is filled with 1950s plastic furniture from Reliable, Renwal, Superior and others.

The Captain's Walk - A Modern Tynietoy Cottage
This Nantucket-style Cottage is modelled after the original Tynietoy 1920's Captain's house. This is one of 4 known models of the rare cottage made by Mel Davey who was a craftsman for the Tynietoy firm in Providence R.I.
Plans for this house were printed in the November, 1920 issue of Ladies Home Journal |
I have filled the house with Tynietoy furniture and carpets. |
The kitchen has the hard-to-find Windsor chairs around the Tynietoy Hutch Table |
The palour has a lovely Ladder-back settee and matching chairs with a matching mirror over the built-in mantle. The Spanish style cabinet and table are rare Tynietoy treasures. |
The larger bedroom has a spool bed and other Tynietoy furniture including a secretary and chest of draws |
The nursery has a yellow sleigh bed and blue crib. |

FAO Schwarz Mystery House from the 1890s
As I continue to downsize my collection of antique dollhouses I am realizing I need to send some of my favourite treasures to new homes. I sold my smaller FAO Schwarz Mystery House today. The new owner was so happy to get it and I am sure she will love it as much as I did. Still it almost broke my heart to part with this wonderful house.
I did a blog post about it here when I first got it.
The house was repainted by a former owner, but they didn't touch the wonderful floors. |
I also let some of my antique furniture go. |

Beautiful 7 Room Dollhouse with custom wallpaper
Sold another house I hated to part with. I did a blog post about this house here when I first put furniture in it.
The front-opening design of this three-story dollhouse is the perfect choice for collectors who want lots of rooms but don't have lots of space! I custom-made the wallpaper from historic wallpaper examples.
32" tall, 24" deep and 13" wide. This was built from a kit about 20 years ago - the Walmer Lilliput Strawberry Patch #459. It is beautifully made and very sturdy. In beautiful condition.
