Thanks Christine and CM! I love having servants in my dollhouses because, alas, I don't have any in my 1:1 house. The 1020's maid has lost her apron, but I will make her one out of a vintage hankie. I am glad her dress is still intact. It's too bad you can see the glue through the top of the apron on the other doll, but her costume is wonderful.
Christine, you can find this ashtray on eBay and RubyLane. do a search for "Vintage German Metal Dollhouse Ashtray" or variations of it. They range in price based on condition and what the seller thinks it's worth.

Oh they are wonderful! I love the "flapper" style dress.
ReplyDeleteAdore your china - head maid. Lizzie
ReplyDeleteThank you - there certainly is a variation in price!
ReplyDeleteYes, Christine, there is. I was lucky enough to get mine in the lower end of the price range. It is gorgeous though, even to a non-smoker.
